Recently I came across an article on the Magnum Photos website about the famous photographer Elliot Erwitt and his photographs of people looking at art in museums. In 1999 Erwitt published a collection of his work in a book called Museum Watching that I’m going to have to pick up. Reading the article reminded me of my own photos of people in art galleries and museums. The photos here are from a trip to the Vancouver Art Gallery in July of 2017. I miss museums and galleries, regardless of what’s on exhibit I always find the people interesting. Ricoh GR
