Nothing Gold Can Stay

We are at the point in autumn where there are more leaves on the ground than on the trees. I was out for a walk yesterday through the neighborhood and the blankets of leaves were everywhere. It’s very scenic until the leaves mix with the rain and start to decompose into a slippery, mulchy, muck. Post title borrowed from Robert Frost.
