Glimpses of Infrastructure

I’ve been ill with a bad cold (or some other nasty virus) for the past few days so I was happy I felt well enough this afternoon to go for a walk and get some fresh air. Nothing too ambitious, just a few kilometres in the neighborhood. I grabbed my Leica M10 and 50mm Zeiss Sonnar lens and headed out with no particular subjects in mind. After reviewing the images this evening the emergent theme seems to be something along the lines of neighborhood infrastructure”. I’ve never really thought about it, but I suppose that I am attracted to the systems that make the neighborhood and the city function. I’ll have to browse through my catalog with that mental filter applied! Perhaps a project in the making.
