Cruising Into September

While there are still a few cruise ships making port in Vancouver in October, September is the last month of the busy Alaska tour season. I try to get to the Port of Vancouver at Canada Place at least a couple of mornings each year when there are multiple ships in port. There is lots to photograph, I find the provisioning and servicing of these massive vessels interesting in addition to the density of tourists, especially when 3 (or rarely all 4 births) are occupied by these floating cities. Yesterday morning there were 3 ships in port, Royal Princess, Regatta and Koningsdam. Add in some great morning light and it made for a very fun morning!
