The West Dyke Trail runs along the Fraser River tributary just south of YVR, the Vancouver Airport before it turns south and runs along wetlands between solid ground and the Salish Sea. There is no shortage of rewarding views. Jets and seaplanes taking off and landing with the Vancouver skyline and the North Shore Mountains in the distance and wetlands to the southwest. It’s hard to believe this was my first outing there. It won’t be my last!
