I had a little time to kill this afternoon and decided to dust off my Leica M8 with 21mm Voigtlander Color Skopar f4. This tiny 21mm lens gives a 28mm equivalent focal length on the M8’s sensor and makes a nice setup for street photography. Set the lens to f8 and a pre-focus to 2 metres and everything from about 1 metre to infinity is in focus. About 20 minutes into my walk the battery quit on me (despite indicating full when I started) and I didn’t bring a spare. I did get a few decent street scenes before the camera took it’s nap!
