Golden Hour, Spanish Banks

A beautiful evening for a golden hour walk and some photos at Spanish Banks. I wanted a bit of reach and compression so I brought the longest lens I currently have, the Voigtlander 75mm f2.5 Color Heliar. It’s a nice compact lens and on the APS-C Leica CL and provides an appoximate 112mm telephoto eqivalent. I bought this lens shortly after I got the Leica M8 in 2010 and it paired pretty well with that sensor. On the CL it’s resolving power shows it’s limits but I really like the film-like rendering of this combo at the expense of some resolution.

I like these photos but my favorite from the day was this one from my Ricoh GR3
