Snow Birds

We were visited by a flock of Robins today along with a decent snowfall. I’ve never seen so many Robins together. Apparently, they are more solitary in spring and summer but gather in the winter as they search for food. Their diet has to switch from worms and insects to berries. There is a large bush on our patio that I think is Juniper and they really like the berries. We tried to put some apple and raisins out but that only attracted crows and one gull. The Robins were happy with their berries.
